A large laterite sea-fort on Kerala's northern coast, with sweeping ramparts and an unobstructed view of the Arabian Sea.
Bekal Fort is Kerala's largest fort, its keyhole-shaped bastion overlooking the sea from a rocky headland. The circular ramparts, an old lighthouse and open lawns inside give photographers a variety of frames, from tight architectural shots to wide seascapes.
