Cubbon Park – Bengaluru
Cubbon Park is one of Bengaluru's oldest and most iconic public parks, established in 1870 and spread across approximately 300 acres. Named after Sir Mark Cubbon, the park features expansive lawns, bamboo groves, flowering trees, heritage buildings, jogging paths, cycling tracks, and landscaped gardens. Home to more than 6,000 trees representing hundreds of species, it is a favorite destination for morning walks, birdwatching, picnics, yoga, photography, and outdoor events. Landmarks within and around the park include the State Central Library, Attara Kacheri (High Court Building), Government Museum, and Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum. Its lush landscapes and colonial architecture make it a popular location for pre-wedding shoots, fashion photography, films, commercials, and travel content.
